Reduce short-link risk with recognizable destinations, controlled editing access, and evidence-based abuse reporting.

Shortening does not make a destination safe

A short address can hide a long destination from view. Use clear labels, recognizable domains, and destination checks before publishing a campaign.

Do not use a route to conceal phishing, malware, impersonation, or prohibited content. Keep the original campaign message consistent with where visitors are sent.

Prevent avoidable operational mistakes

Limit editing access to responsible members and review changes to important public routes. Check that the destination is public, current, and usable without an internal session.

Keep domains renewed and retire stale offers deliberately. Browser warnings and external safety checks should not be bypassed.

Report concerns with useful evidence

Report Abuse accepts the original Gods.ly or branded address and details describing the concern. Keep the reference returned after submission for follow-up.

Authorized reviewers investigate the report and record their decisions. Reporting does not automatically delete a route, and a case status is separate from an enforcement action. Do not open a suspicious page solely to collect evidence or submit passwords and private documents.
