Understand how campaign links and optional tracking integrations fit together without bypassing consent or overstating conversion measurement.

A short address is not permission to track

Tracking and retargeting integrations can send information to third parties. They need an appropriate legal basis, disclosure, and visitor choices for the context in which they operate.

A shortened URL does not remove those responsibilities. Browser privacy controls and provider restrictions can also limit measurement.

Check the supported integration and its scope

Use the integrations supported by the current dashboard and confirm the provider identifier. Review where the integration runs, which events it receives, and whether it is enabled.

On public Bio Pages, optional media and third-party analytics follow consent and privacy settings. Do not assume a simple redirect loads every advertising pixel.

Validate outcomes independently

Test the consented journey with the provider’s tools when configuring a campaign. Keep declined or blocked tracking distinct from technical failures.

Clicks, audience eligibility, and confirmed conversions are different results. Confirm purchases or signups at their destination and avoid promising that a pixel will measure every visitor or improve campaign returns.
